Photovoltaic Power Plant “FNE Gobem” Temerin

In this blog, we write about the photovoltaic power plant “FNE Gobem” in Temerin and how we can work together for a sustainable future. In today’s world, where there is an increasing focus on renewable energy sources, the Temerin photovoltaic power plant serves as an excellent example of how we can efficiently and sustainably harness the power of sunlight. This plant, invested in by “Gobem” Ltd. Belgrade, aims to generate electrical energy using solar power. The planned photovoltaic power plant with a nominal inverter output of 9.36 MW and a nominal output of PV panels of 14.04 MWp will cover an area of 14 hectares. The technical documentation for this project was prepared by “Solar Energy” Ltd. Novi Sad. The project implementation commenced in May 2023, with the completion of works scheduled for the end of the year.

The photovoltaic power plant “FNE Gobem” in Temerin uses solar panels to harness solar energy. A total of 21,278 solar panels will be installed, each with a nominal output power of 660 Wp. Additionally, 75 inverters with an individual nominal power of 125 kW will be installed to convert the direct current voltage from the photovoltaic panels into alternating current voltage that matches the grid voltage and frequency. For the purpose of delivering electrical energy to the distribution grid, the installation of 5 prefabricated modular-concrete transformer stations (MCTS) 20/0.4 kV is planned. In each of the 5 prefabricated modular-concrete transformer stations, there will be two transformers with a power of 1,000 kVA, high-voltage (HV) equipment, as well as low-voltage (LV) distribution equipment.

The estimated average annual production is around 16,198 GWh, with an estimated reduction in CO2 emissions of about 6,630 tons.

After the completion of the works, the photovoltaic power plant “FNE Gobem” in Temerin will be connected to the distribution system of electrical energy (DSEE). All the produced electrical energy, except that intended for self-consumption, will be delivered to the distribution system of electrical energy, providing sustainable energy sources for the entire community. This solar power plant will significantly contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and protecting the environment.

It is important to emphasize that the photovoltaic power plant “FNE Gobem” in Temerin is fully compliant with the latest global trends in the production of electrical energy from renewable sources.
